Ace Handyman Services Fox Valley is growing, and we are looking for the right person to join our team.

We are not looking to simply fill a seat. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our business, our customers’ experience, and our future growth.

This is not a traditional receptionist or administrative role.

This is a customer-facing, phone-based, inside sales and client care position for someone who enjoys helping people, building trust, solving problems, following up, and converting opportunities into booked work.

The right person will be energized by responsibility, accountability, customer conversations, and being part of a small business where their work truly matters.

This is an in-office position located in Elgin, Illinois. Candidates living within approximately 5–10 miles of our office are strongly preferred.

About the Role

The Client Care & Inside Sales Coordinator plays a key role in customer communication, lead conversion, scheduling support, customer follow-up, and business growth.

This role combines:

Success in this role is measured by customer experience, responsiveness, lead conversion, customer reactivation, schedule utilization, and contribution to incremental business growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Client Care & Inside Sales

  •  Answer inbound customer calls professionally and confidently 
  •  Build trust and rapport with homeowners 
  •  Educate customers on our services and scheduling process 
  •  Communicate value, professionalism, and customer experience 
  •  Convert customer inquiries into booked work 
  •  Conduct outbound follow-up on unsold opportunities 
  •  Follow up on pending customer decisions 
  •  Maintain momentum throughout the customer journey 
Customer Growth Activities

  •  Reactivate former customers 
  •  Support referral generation efforts 
  •  Participate in customer outreach campaigns 
  •  Help identify new customer opportunities 
  •  Contribute to incremental business growth initiatives 
Scheduling & Operations Support

  •  Coordinate schedules for multiple Craftsmen 
  •  Match the right Craftsman to the right customer and project 
  •  Maintain accurate customer and job information 
  •  Utilize Service Titan and CRM systems daily 
  •  Manage customer communication and follow-up activity 
  •  Support efficient daily office operations

Qualifications

Required

  •  Strong phone communication skills 
  •  Previous sales, inside sales, customer service, dispatch, or call-center experience 
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  •  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities 
  •  Comfortable using CRM systems and technology platforms 
  •  Reliable transportation 
  •  Ability to work from our Elgin office 
  •  Positive attitude and strong work ethic 
Preferred

  •  Service Titan experience 
  •  Pipedrive CRM experience 
  •  Home services industry experience 
  •  Hospitality or relationship-based sales experience 
  •  Scheduling or dispatch experience 
  •  Marketing or pipeline management experience 
  •  Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Ace Handyman Services Craftsmen are empowered and given much more flexibility than others in our industry. For example, they are in charge of their own job sites, and given the freedom to interact directly with Homeowners and Property Managers to suggest work that will improve safety, preserve their largest investment, and truly help them to love their homes and commercial buildings.

Ace Handyman Services’ work itself is often indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and is primarily of lighter-duty than new construction projects.  There are Franchise Owners and Office Managers to assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative side of the business allowing our Craftsmen to focus on the tasks at-hand and provide our customers with professional services that delight our customers.  Our Franchise Owners are successful, business-savvy individuals, who are ethical and treat their Staff like Family. The safety and well-being of TEAM members is a top priority. Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
