Are you a highly skilled craftsman who takes pride in quality work and exceptional customer service? Ace Handyman Services North Jersey is looking for multi-skilled professionals to join our team. We serve homeowners and businesses primarily across Morris, Sussex, and Passaic counties.
We provide the "white glove treatment," backed by a dedicated office team that handles all scheduling and marketing. We offer exact appointment times, a 1-year guarantee on all work, and a professional environment where your expertise is valued.

Job Responsibilities
  • Project Variety: Tasks range from quick 2-hour repairs to multi-day demo and installation projects for kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Core Trades: Carpentry (trim, framing, cabinet installation, decks), Drywall (patching and finishing), Painting, Minor Plumbing/Electrical (fixtures and leaks), and Tile Work.
  • Project Management: Use our Field Service Management (FSM) app to track Time and Materials and document project progress.
  • Safety: Maintain a clean work site and adhere to professional safety standards, including EPA RRP (lead-safe) practices where applicable.
Job Requirements
  • Proven Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience in home repair or remodeling.
  • Vehicle & Tools: Must have a reliable truck or van and a comprehensive set of professional-grade power and hand tools for daily operations.
  • Estimating Skills: Ability to estimate project labor and material needs effectively.
  • License & Travel: Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites across primarily Morris, Sussex, and Passaic counties.
  • Tech Savvy: Ability to learn and effectively use a smartphone-based scheduling system.
  • Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Vetting: Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
