We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional Field Supervisor with skills in multiple trades.
Definition: A Leader in charge of the operation with the abilities of an individual who practices a trade; skilled in a craft. Skilled in planning, making, or executing an occupation, trade or activity requiring artistic skill. To make or produce with care, skill, and ingenuity and willingness to teach, mentor, motivate or discipline others to help them grow to their potential. They can hire, train new, intermediate, and tenured employees and evaluate each person as they develop them to work as a TEAM for the betterment of the business.
Objective
To lead, mentor, and support a team of skilled craftsmen while ensuring every project meets Ace Handyman Services’ high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Field Supervisor serves as the link between the office and field operations—driving efficiency, professionalism, and consistency across all job sites while upholding the trusted Ace brand in the Westside Cincinnati community.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support field craftsmen on active projects throughout the Westside Cincinnati service area.
- Review project scopes, estimates, and materials lists before job starts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct on-site quality checks and verify that work meets Ace Handyman standards and customer expectations.
- Assist with scheduling adjustments, dispatch coordination, and job prioritization through ServiceTitan.
- Communicate daily with the office team to provide job updates, photos, and notes.
- Mentor and train new craftsmen on best practices, safety procedures, and company culture.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns or project issues in real-time.
- Maintain safety compliance and ensure proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Monitor productivity, timeliness, and professionalism of all field employees.
- Help coordinate material pickups, vendor relationships, and jobsite logistics.
- Community engagement, and developing industry partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years of handyman experience
- Own truck or van and tools
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Collaborative, optimistic, reliable
- Knowledgeable in multiple trades
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders, crawl spaces, or confined areas as needed.
- Comfortable with occasional hands-on work alongside craftsmen.
