In this role you will facilitate inbound and outbound calls to educate our customers on the types of services & solutions we provide as well as our service model.  Ensuring a full book, you will be a key component to the management of the daily schedule. Listening to customers and helping them solve their problems is the objective. Matching the right craftsmen with the right customer is key to a successful customer journey, and optimizing our craftsmens schedules for maximum efficiency, customer service and revenue.

Job Responsibilities
As Dispatch Manager / Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for inbound customer sales/education, as well as outbound calls to leads, ensuring a full book of work for our craftsmen.  This includes a level of familiarity and comfort with estimating and the sale of time & material. You will also be responsible for resolving customer issues and ensuring excellent customer service. You will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching craftsmen to a range of job sites, ensuring timely responses to customer requests and optimizes daily routes to maximize productivity. Communicate closely with clients, setting clear expectations, providing real-time updates, and resolving any service issues swiftly. By managing job assignments and tracking project progress, you help maintain workflow efficiency and uphold high standards of craftsmanship and service.  You will also provide logistical support for our craftsmen, helping them with material ordering and scheduling efficiencies.

Your specific duties in this role will include: 
  • Respond to job leads in a timely manner 
  • Utilizing Service Titan dispatching & schedule management software to co-ordinate craftsmen and projects
  • Returning customers calls as needed and following up with past customers
  • Performing paperwork and administrative duties
  • Assist in solving operational logistics to ensure a smooth customer journey
  • Must be dependable: Mon - Fri 8 am - 5pm Eastern Time
Job Requirements
We are looking for professionals who are highly RELIABLE, organized and detail-oriented, with a strong customer service and administrative background and multi-tasking skills. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customers and our craftsmen. You will also need a strong solution-focused attitude and be quick on your feet. 

Specific qualifications for the role include: 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and be based in the United States of America.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of customer service and/or administrative assistant/scheduling experience - 2+ in the trades
  • 2+ years of recent Service Titan experience
  • Demonstrable high percentage Booking Rate
  • Comfortable with sales and pricing/estimating
  • Adaptive to technology
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Great multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Sales and/or Marketing – a basic understanding of sales and marketing and the differences between the two, a plus 
This Ace Handyman Services location is based in Stevensville, MD. It is comprised of 3 franchise territories that service the Annapolis area, Maryland's Eastern Shore and the Ocean City/Salisbury area.  The position is full-time Mon - Fri, 8am-5:00p (1 hour lunch break) Eastern time. This growing business currently has 7 craftsmen, each with 20+ years of experience in 6+ trades. Ace Handyman does 1,162+ different home repairs and home improvements including drywall repair, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, flooring, tiling, painting, and more.

Compensación: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
