We are one of Southern Maine's top-rated handyman businesses', specializing in general home repairs and smaller home improvement projects. Our team has provided homes and businesses throughout Southern Maine with quality craftsmanship for all of their seasonal/annual project needs.  We are currently seeking a highly consultative and professional Master Craftsman with skills in multiple trades.
 
We are looking for a "Master Craftsman" to join our team in a flexible, part-time capacity.  Joining our team with a very well rounded experience across multiple trades, with expertise/mastery in one or more disciplines.  Ability to act as “Lead” on a project and mentor others on a team on particular skill/trade areas.  An exceptional communicator with customers; in both job management and consultation.  An exceptional set of various tools, professional grade, and has a “workshop” for more custom fabrications.  

  • Full-time or Part-Time
  • Pay: starting at $32 p/hr 
  • Bonus: eligible based on position objectives & performance
  • Personal Vehicle or Company Vehicle
IDEAL CANDIDATE:  Has spent a career in the building trades and is looking for "easier" work, while still keeping their craft sharp.  Is tired of the working 50+ hours a week, juggling complex projects - chasing subs, material orders, and all of the overhead.   Loves working with hands, mentoring others, and truly loves working with customers and their homes. 
Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Ace Handyman Services’ work itself is often indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and is primarily of lighter-duty than new construction projects.  There are Franchise Owners and Office Managers to assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative side of the business allowing our Craftsmen to focus on the tasks at-hand and provide our customers with professional services that delight our customers.  Our Franchise Owners are successful, business-savvy individuals, who are ethical and treat their Staff like Family. The safety and well-being of TEAM members is a top priority. Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
