ACE Handyman Services, which supports our local ACE Hardware stores, is hiring multi-skilled carpenters (interior and exterior trim work, door install/replacement) who also have experience with drywall, painting, minor electrical, minor plumbing, minor roof and siding repairs, and other home improvement/maintenance projects.

ACE Handyman Services of Cleveland is hiring:
  • Well-rounded carpenters and home improvement tradesmen and women
  • No nights or weekends
  • Flexible schedule as a W-2 employee with biweekly pay and benefits
  • Competitive pay based on demonstrated capabilities. 
We develop and schedule the jobs for you. You do great work, deliver an exceptional customer experience, do a little paperwork, and go home. No unpaid evening time planning and estimating. Any estimating is paid time.

In addition to fair pay, we provide vehicle or vehicle allowance, a tool allowance, paid vacation/time off, and flexible work scheduling. You can choose a flexible schedule that fits your life. Part-time to full-time based on your skills and availability.

Requirements for consideration include:
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • 10 or more years of direct experience in the home improvement industry
  • Finish carpentry and a diverse skillset
  • Ability to manage homeowner expectations
  • Ability to accurately estimate job time and material requirements
  • Reliable, dependable, and courteous
  • Own your own tools and a professional-looking van/truck
  • Have current driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check
Our office is in Westlake and our primary service areas follow the I-90 and I-71 corridors.

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

For example, they are in charge of their own job sites, and given the freedom to interact directly with Homeowners and Property Managers to suggest work that will improve safety, preserve their largest investment, and truly help them to love their homes and commercial buildings.

Ace Handyman Services’ work itself is often indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and is primarily of lighter-duty than new construction projects.  There are Franchise Owners and Office Managers to assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative side of the business allowing our Craftsmen to focus on the tasks at-hand and provide our customers with professional services that delight our customers.  Our Franchise Owners are successful, business-savvy individuals, who are ethical and treat their Staff like Family. The safety and well-being of TEAM members is a top priority. Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
