Helper for Multi-skilled Handyman/Carpenters/Craftsmen – ***$500 SIGN ON BONUS & HEALTH INSURANCE AVAILABLE***
Ace Handyman Services South Charlotte (a division of Ace Hardware) needs your basic skills and desire to learn.  We are one of Charlotte's top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies. Our Franchise has provided homes and businesses throughout Charlotte with quality craftsmanship for all of their repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects – both large and small – inside and outside. We are currently seeking highly motivated Apprentices to learn by assisting our professional Craftsmen. 

If you are looking for a W-2 employment position that allows you the flexibility of an independent job, look no further!  You will work out of your home on your choice of a full time or part time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in the Charlotte and surrounding areas. We provide your uniform and technology equipment and training.

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the role include (***MUST LIVE WITHIN 20 MILES OF MATTHEWS/CHARLOTTE***): 

  • MINIMUM 1 year of maintenance & repair experience
  • Strong personal desire to learn and be teachable 
  • Own standard set of basic tools
  • Own truck or van
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Residence within 20 miles of the city of Charlotte
  • Troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to pass a background check
