Job Description ( THIS IS A W2 JOB)
Ace Handyman Services Hamilton County is a franchise and part of the popular Ace Hardware family. 
We find and schedule the jobs for you, and you provide the quality craftsmanship and customer service that our clients have come to expect from us.
You will work at Residential job sites in Hamilton county (Carmel, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville) while driving your own Truck.

We are currently seeking highly motivated professional Carpenters with: 
 
  • skills in Interior and Exterior carpentry to independently execute projects.
  • expert knowledge of Custom carpentry work such as Built-ins, Accent walls, Custom Closet work, Interior Trim Carpentry, install doors, cabinets,.etc
  • a strong work ethic & problem solving ability.
  • a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Project planning and management ability
  • Job responsibilities also include executing handyman work to remodeling projects for a Full-time role.

Hourly compensation is $35 /hr which includes weekly Tool & Gas allowance

Job Requirements

You must also display excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to interact in a positive way with different types of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel.
Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Successful prior track record as a Residential Carpenter
  • Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
  • Own truck or van
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
