  • Ace Handyman Services is seeking an experienced multi-skilled Craftsman to join our growing team serving Waukesha County and the Lake Country area.
  • We are looking for a professional, self-sufficient craftsman who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and can independently complete a wide variety of residential repair and improvement projects with minimal supervision.
  • This is a full-time W2 position offering steady year-round work, office support, paid time off, performance incentives, and weekends off.
  • Our craftsmen focus on quality workmanship and customer service rather than high-pressure sales.
  • Projects range from residential repairs and carpentry to drywall, trim, doors, decks, tile, and light remodeling work.
  • Our office team handles scheduling, customer communication, invoicing, and administrative support so craftsmen can stay focused on the work.
  • This position is best suited for craftsmen who can work independently, communicate clearly with customers, and consistently produce high-quality work without close supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of home repair and maintenance tasks
  • Handle projects involving carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, and light plumbing/electrical work
  • Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company well on job sites
  • Manage time effectively to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard
  • Maintain tools and ensure readiness for daily assignments

Requirements:

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in home repair, remodeling, or maintenance
  • Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks
  • Own a standard set of hand and power tools
  • Strength, balance, agility and ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds
  • Reliable pickup truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting standard tools and small jobsite materials
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to complete a background check
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
  • Able to proficiently navigate tablet and mobile technology

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working across multiple trades in residential settings
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
