Handyman / Carpenter / Tradesman Job Requirements:
  • Skilled Tradesman with experience in home maintenance, home improvement, repair & remodeling, carpenter, or handyman services
  • Clean background, valid state Driver’s license with insurable driving record required
  • Must have own basic hand and power tools fit for many job types
  • Your own truck or van preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (you'll be working with a wide variety of different kinds of clients & colleagues)
  • Provide exceptional, honest, and fair customer service and team player with office staff
  • Strength, balance, agility and ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds and climb 24 ft ladder
  • Able to proficiently navigate tablet and mobile technology
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Willing to take drug screenings and a background check upon employment
Handyman / Carpenter / Tradesman Responsibilities:
  • Completing small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects
  • Communicating with customers about scope of work and cost estimates
  • Insuring the efficient use of materials and maintaining adequate stock of necessary equipment
  • Collecting payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
  • Keeping company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
  • Completing invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
  • Performing other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
